Here are some things you need to be aware of when purchasing a product online from EBAY or any other unauthorized dealer.
1)Buyer Beware! It`s easy to cut and paste photographs and images from other eBay listings and other sites.Just because the photo looks real,it doesn`t mean the product is Authentic to Tempur-Pedic.
2)Bait and Switch:we have seen several instances where sellers have placed a Tempur-pedic cover on a knock-off mattress and sold it as a Tempur-Pedic.
3)The warranty and trial period are not valid on any product sold on eBay.
4)False Advertising:misleading tactics eBay sellers are using to sell knock-offs.Sellers have been known to claim their product is the “same as Tempur-Pedic” or even that their product is made at the same factory.We have also seen several cases where customers thought they were getting a Tempur-Pedic but received a poorly constructed knock-off.
We have also been told by customer that the shipping of these products sometimes takes a long time.This is because the seller wants to cover his tracks.If any authorized dealer is found to be selling Tempur-pedic on EBAY it is grounds for termination.
