Diamond buying? Buyer Beware!

To all of you out there searching for quality jewelry beware of a seller by the name of fdstar also known as O.L.D Diamonds they have an store and web site at diamondleaders.com. Only when they were threatened by Master Card did they agree to refund, eventhough they claim to have a quote “100% Money Back NO QUESTIONS ASKED!” policy. After a month of them ignoring my calls and e mails I turned them into Master Card and they called me parinoid for doing so!

They claimed that the enhanced diamond ring i purchased for 510 dollars was really worth 8 thousand! Buyer beware…so do yourself a favor check with the Better Business Bureau before making such a large purchase, (supprise they arent registered with the NY BBB) also make sure that the diamionds you are buying are ceritfied by a reputable institution like the GIA. Remember anyone with a computer can print an authentic looking BUT worthless diamond certificate—just because it’s in writing doesnt mean it’s worth the paper!

I made the purchase from these people March 13th, I was told it would arrive on the 17th, it did not arrive until the 28th!!! From the 30th of March until the 30th of April all of my e mails and phone calls were ignored, finally after asking Master Card to call them for me they claim they’ve refunded the 510, although it’s yet to post. The best part, they keep asking me to leave them positive feedback, can you believe the nerve?

So I cannot stress enough, buyer beware! Good luck and be smart if it looks to good to be true it probably is, dont fall for the smoke and mirrors, keep honest, watch out for yourself because all sellers arent concerned with your satisfaction even if they say they are!
