Dyson 17 - The best investment I’ve ever made!
After my 1 1/2 year old Hoover turbo smelled like the motor was burning for the 2nd time in as much time, I decided to throw in the towel. My daughter had mentioned her Dyson 17 as being the best investment she’d ever made. I called her to reaffirm this. Again, she said YES. So, begrudgingly, and being the owner of 3 dogs, I trudged to the store to purchase this outrageously priced, purple Dyson vacuum cleaner. Note: I had vacuumed w/ my pathetic Hoover just before leaving the house.
I am not particularly interested in vacuuming my house twice in one day. Mind you, my house is only 1600 square fee. But I was curious to see how foolish I was to spend over $500. on a vacuum. Stunned doesn’t even describe my reaction after seeing the dirt and dog hair in the cannister. It was full! I called my daughter and thanked her again and again and again. I makes me cringe just to think I’d been living on this filthy carpet since I’v lived in this house. Although I restrained myself, I actually wanted to take a picture of the cannister after vacuuming with the Dyson.
My only regret is that I went to Lowes. When I checked online after my purchase, I found out I could have saved over $100 at Best Buy. While I think the Dyson is worth every penny, I would suggest checking out different store prices before purchasing.
