Electric Cordless Potato Peeler
I actually own an electric potato peeler that is corded. It was given to me as a Christmas give about 5 years back. At first I thought it was cheesy but then when I started to use it I could not deny it was the greatest. I could peel a 5 pound bag of potatoes in no time flat, in fact my neighbors would come to borrow it to do their vegetables with. In time though the blade started to get dull and I could not find a replacement, so I decided it was time to purchase a new one.
I found this one that was battery opperated and cordless and I was very excited. I got it home and put new batteries in it and got ready to do my first batch of yellow potatoes with it and low and behold it could not peel the potato. As soon as I put it to the potato the blade stopped like it hit a rock. Keeping in mind these were yellow potatoes with very little eyes and a very thin skin. It couldn’t even get through that without stopping!!!
So the moral of the story is, if you want a electric potato peeler, get one that’s corded and has enough power to actually peel a potato or you are just wasting your money.
