How to know if it’s authentic pearls
You don’t have to go to a jewelry shop to know if you’re pearls are authentic.
There are two simple ways to know!
1. Rub the pearls together, it should feel grainy or sandy and if it shows a slight scratch mark just simply wipe it and it will come off as if nothing happened.
2. Rub it on your teeth, it should feel grainy or sandy — this is the method I recommend as it will not wipe off powder on your pearls.
Plastic pearls are slippery if you rub them
and the plastic will chip off.
