How to spot fake Chanel mother of Pearl sunglasses
First, most fakes come with a box authenticity papers and lense cloth and with the numbers on the inside of the plastic and the stamp and numbers embedded in the lense itself. These are VERY good fakes!!!! The mother of pearl is plastic, you can not tell by the pictures, also there is a metal rod embedded in the plastic from the hinge to the part that goes around the ear (1st picture), there is this zip lock bag that the glasses come in, and they don’t show you that in their e bay pictures. Questions to ask: Ask where they bought it, does it have the metal piece discribed above ( real Chanel mother of pearl sunglasses do not have this) Also, be very careful because some will start bidding low like .99 cents for brand new with tags sunglasses, and some will be a bid or buy it now for 150.00 and up to 300. 00 or more. I bought these for 150.00 on e bay and they are fake!! I have included the pictures of the fake sunglasses so you will be able to see if you have a fake or are buying one. It does not matter if their feedback is 100% with over a thousand purchases or not, so buyer beware. I hope this helps all of you.
Another note, if you file a dispute with pay pal or your credit card, if the seller asks you to cancel them and they will pay you……don’t believe them. Once you cancel any dispute it is closed forever. They (seller) may say to you cancel charge back or dispute because they can not put the money in the account because it is frozen, they can pay once it has been declared their fault. Also look at what they are selling in there store, if it is several Chanel sunglasses at below retail or even wholesale, there is something wrong. I found the fakes I bought by just typing in Chanel mother of pearl sunglasses replica or fakes in my Google bar and there they were. They had some with box, papers, cloth, and case, some even came with a Chanel shopping bag. The cloths come in 2 colors as well black and light brown.
