I have heard this question a few times, so I decided to write a guide about it.
There is a vicious rumor that it is illegal to sell Kirbys on eBay. The answer is………….
No!!!
It is illegal by the Kirby company rules that anyone sell a BRAND NEW factory warranted Kirby Sentria on eBay (or any other website). Brand new Kirbys are sold by in-home demonstration only. Any factory direct distributor caught selling Kirbys on eBay is IMMEDIATELY canceled by the Kirby company with NO chance of reinstatement as a distributor. Of course, the buyer is not protected by the factory warranty either, so they lose too.
Selling reconditioned pre-owned Kirbys is PERFECTLY legal. (AND COST EFFECTIVE!!) :0)
