jade plant blossom

I love gardening. Gardening is my passion. I love to talk and share ideas about how to keep the perfect garden. I am goint to use this space to write a few lines about jade plant. I have a 20-year-old jade plant that bloomes every year. Yes, every year! Take note of this tip if you are strugglingd to help this plan bloom again: I’ve never grown a jade plant because they grow too large and fast for me. I read in a book that a jade plant should bloom every year if you ‘chill’ it or expose it to long nights (with no light) in the autumn. Chill means keeping it where the temperature reaches nearly 32 degrees. Long nights means darkness not interrupted by turning on a lamp or flashlight. That will help stimulate it to rebloom next fall or winter. A practical way to do this would be to put it outside in the fall and keep it outdoors until temperatures get down to freezing at night. Before a frost or freeze, bring it indoors and it should rebloom. This will help you find a way to grow this beautiful plan.
