Ko Olina Resort - Hawaii
I visited Ko’Olina Resort, with a friend, from Sept 14 to Sept. 18., 2006. It is an extremely pleasant resort located on the Ewa side of Oahu. It is a long way from the crowds and bustle of Waikiki.
Reception was fast and simple. Virtually everything was ready for us. The Hotel staff were well trained and very personable.
Hotel Facility - Simply stated, it was GREAT! The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Life safety systems are all complete and up to date with smoke detection, sprinklers and proper exiting.
The rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee and even some cleaning supplies. The baths are equipped with the normal amenities.
The grounds, pools and Food & Beverage facilities are commensurate with a facility created to be a marketing tool for this type of Time Share facility.
Complimentary Wireless Internet is supplied by the Resort. A welcome change to the usurious charges imposed by many other Hotels & Resorts.
The pools, Spas, Health facility, etc. were all well appointed and a pleasant place to exercise, play and relax. We had a really wonderful snorkeling trip provided by the resort aboard their catamaran. We saw dolphins and sea turtles and viewed many of the beautiful reef fish. The crew were really great.
The Oceanside Bar and Restaurant were perfect for light dining and watching for the green flash at sunset and the starry skies at night.
All in all, one of the best hotel experiences that I have had in several years!
