The boiler does not recover very quickly after making the coffee. This means about a 30 second wait before steaming milk. I generally steam or froth the milk first, and then make the espresso and there seems to be no problem.
The other thing that is annoying is that the frothing wand only swivels horizontally…this makes inserting a pitcher and removing it almost impossible without lifting up the machine with the handle. This means you cannot keep your cups on the heated top portion, or have them already positioned under the drip area as they will fall off when you lift up the machine.
