Look out for the cheaters

I’ve been duped twice now. I know how it happens. It’s just as much my fault as anyone else’s. If you’re new to eBay, be careful. This is an incredible site, but it’s easy to believe the best in people that you shouldn’t. Look at seller feedback. If they’re selling something but have acquired all of their feedback by making purchases, you should be leary. If the seller is out of the country, be especially careful. Not all countries have laws regarding online fraud. I won a court order over a computer that I bought from a bogus seller in Canada. I’m still waiting for the money…that was 5 years ago. Also, look out for crappy buyers. That’s how I got my one negative feedback point. I sold a computer to an older person. I should have talked to him on the phone and made sure that he understood what he was doing. The ad disclosed all info about the computer, but the buyer, after receiving the computer, tried changing the operating system and messed up. I paid to have him send it back to me so that I could fix it. Then I sent it back. Next thing I knew, I had negative feedback. All I’m saying is that people don’t always know your product like you do and they aren’t always as honest as you are. Email me if you’re new to the site. I’d love to help you avoid the mistakes I made.
