The Digital Image Stabilization function minimizes or eliminates the blurring effect caused by camera shake or moving subjects, helping you to capture crisp images day or night.
The Stylus 1000 provides a trio of in-camera editing tools that will correct many photographic errors. Use Digital Image Stabilization Edit to retouch unanticipated blurry images. Use Lighting Fix to brighten underexposed areas of an image. Use Red-Eye Fix to correct shots in which the flash is reflected in your subjects??eyes. The tools can be applied individually, or activate Perfect Fix to apply them all simultaneously.

As you become more familiar with the features and options available on the Stylus 1000, you can use the convenient mode dial to choose your preferred shooting modes. When using Olympus brand xD-Picture Card??removable flash memory media (sold separately) and the included Olympus Master software, you can create stunning panoramic images. An on-screen Panorama target mark helps you compose the shots.
Sharing your masterpieces is easy. The Stylus 1000 is PictBridge-enabled for direct-from-the-camera printing. You can also use the included USB cable to transfer the images to your computer and e-mail them to friends and family.
