More Motorcycle scams.
Wow I am getting sick of this. I have been trying to buy a motorcycle here for three weeks and have been approached with several scams. The first is people other than the seller trying to use the SECOND CHANCE OFFER. The price is too cheap to be true. I contacted the original seller through EBAY and found out it was a scam. All three auctions I had lost were sent to me. IF the price is too good to be true forget it.
The second scam came from another bike which was being offered at way too cheap a price. I had to be put on a list to bid and then I received a bogus email saying that he was out of the country. Blah blah blah. Point is people should follow a few simple rules.
1.) If the price is too good to be true, BUYER BEWARE.
2.) NEVER EVER EVER EVER Send Western Union. You may as well hand the thief CASH!
3.) Always conduct email and questions through EBAY
4.) When in doubt send the email to EBAY and they will ID them.
I have been a member for 8 years and have seen everything. Follow these and you should be safe. They are plenty of good EBAYer out there.
