PEX Plumbing part 3, Couplings and Fittings PICTURES
These are the additional pictures that go with my PEX guide part three. Please use these in conjunction with that guide.
The above is an application for a FIP fitting. It is my PEX to main water line connection at the water meter.
This picture shows both brass and plastic swivel connections that I used for connecting to my washing machine. The swivel connections are on the underside of the assembly.
Shut-offs
picture one, remember there is no hole in the wall. 
picture two, my main water shut off. Notice that below I needed to use a 90 degree to make the corner. Not enough space to just curve the PEX.
picture three, shut offs to individual runs on my cold water manifold. You will also notice two “stops” that I have installed on unused outlets. These will run cold water to my new second bathroom fixtures……when I get a round to it.
And why plumbing does not scare me: Yes, the tiger is real!
