The Best 70$ Investment in house cleaning.

Kid’s little mishaps, pet odors or stains, the occasional dinner or beverage accident, dirt from the house plant, mud tracked in by your significant other, even the dents in carpet left by your furniture, disappear in less than 5 minutes. You don’t even have to get on the floor! We bought a Bissell quicksteamer last week and tested it in the walk in closet.

I thought it was new carpet after letting it dry. You like to use fabric softner on your towels, don’t you? Well, this was same effect. Lay down and stretch out like a cat, it feels so good, even the occasional scuffle across the hallway and your bare feet feel loved.

Assembly, 3 screws and viola!

To get started, just pick up the tank, no latches or locks there. Unscrew the nozzle and fill with 5 ounces of deep cleaning solution, we used the store brand, and the rest with straight hot water. Screw nozzle back on, flip upside down, maybe a shake or 2, and drop it back in.That’s it, seriously!

Plug in and use it like a vacuum cleaner, going over heavy areas slower and maybe spraying a bit more water. There’s a water trigger on the handle.

You know how easy it is to use?

Try it one handed holding a 4 month old. I don’t recommend doing this though. It really is just like a vacuum cleaner.

It takes one clean tank per 3 x 4 ft. area.

The dirty tank has two latches, one on each side. Unlock those and lift up. Pour out and dispose of the dirty water, then run your finger along the lint catcher. Set back down on the machine. You can choose to clean the brush and nozzle, but it isn’t really necessary every time.

If you use a fan, it can dry in little as an hour. Without a fan, depending on the humidity, up to 3 hours.

You can also remove the vacuum nozzle if you just want to brush the carpet a little extra on tough stains. The handle lays flat, unlike most vacuum cleaners and deep cleaners, so you can reach under vitually anything, tables, cribs, some high standing beds.

One of the best features, it works on hard floors and carpets. Don’t change a thing! Just keep cleaning, go from hard floor to carpet and back again. There is some residual water on hard floors just like on the carpet, but all i had to do was take one paper towel and it took care of the rest of the 4 x 5 tile kitchen. Plus, it only took about a quarter of a tank for the kitchen.

I did a professional carpet cleaning job in about 4 hours, and that’s with moving furniture, pretreated severe stains, and with no help. On a budget of $140, I can do this about 25 more times for the entire 1000 sq. ft Apartment and for the occasional accident. The quicksteamer was 70.00, the vacumm, a bissell powerforce bagless was 55.00, and the cleaner solution was 15.00, no other parts, well maybe a screwdriver.
